Madera National Little League
The Madera National Little League began operation for the 1954 season. For the 60 plus seasons since, thousands of children have had the great experience of learning the fundamentals of baseball in an environment that encourages positive character development, learning about loyalty and courage in the face of adversity. This experience has been possible only through the efforts of thousands of community volunteers that have dedicated many more hours to making this experience possible. During this time, many of our current community leaders have had the benefit of the Little League experience. Some of our current players are third generation players in the Madera National Little League. The league strives to remain affordable with the ever increasing expenses of the world today. It is only with the strong support of local community businesses that the operation of the league continues. Our games are played at Lions Town & Country Park in the City of Madera, California. Continuing improvements to our facilities due to investments from the league and city have created a first class facility for Little League baseball. Many of District 10 post-season activities are held on our fields. The League belongs to California District 10 Little League which currently consists of 9 leagues located in the Central San Joaquin Valley of California. Our District consists of Leagues from Reedley in the South to Chowchilla in the North.
