L. Batty did all he could to give Purls Sheet Metal a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past McDonalds, as Purls Sheet Metal lost 6-1 in five innings of their semi-final game at Field #1 on Tuesday (5/29). 

Batty got on base two times in the game for Purls Sheet Metal. He singled in the first inning.

C. Chavira recorded the win for McDonalds. He allowed one run over 3 2/3 innings. He struck out eight, walked one and surrendered one hit.

J. Martinez, J. Saldivar and I. Chavira helped lead McDonalds. They combined for four hits and four RBIs.

McDonalds went up for good in the first, scoring three runs on an RBI double by I. Chavira, an RBI single by Martinez, and an RBI triple by Saldivar.

Purls Sheet Metal's lone run of the ballgame came in the fourth inning on a groundout by C. Aguilar.

After a quick strike from Purls Sheet Metal, McDonalds responded with two runs in the fourth. McDonalds scored on a groundout by Martinez and an RBI double by C. Chavira.

McDonalds advances to the Madera National Little League Majors Championship game to be held on Saturday (6/2) at 6:00 PM on Field #1.

Mazon Trucking lost 5-4 in four innings at Field #1 on Saturday (4/21), despite outhitting Sam Balbas Paint eight to two.

A. Diaz-Barriga was solid at the plate for Mazon Trucking. Diaz-Barriga went 1-2 and scored two runs. He tripled in the second inning.

A. Palacios had an impressive outing against Sam Balbas Paint's lineup. Palacios gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his 1 2/3 innings of work.

I. Murrillo got the win in relief for Sam Balbas Paint. Murrillo pitched two innings and allowed three runs.

The bottom of the first saw Sam Balbas Paint take an early lead, 2-0. Sam Balbas Paint pushed more runs across when E. Dilbeck scored on a walk by Murrillo.

Mazon Trucking matched its one-run second inning with one more in the fourth. In the second, Mazon Trucking scored on an RBI single by C. Mazon, bringing home Diaz-Barriga.

The game was never in doubt after the fourth, as Sam Balbas Paint scored three runs on three bases loaded walks.

Three hits weren't enough for Andy's Sports as it lost a shootout semi-final game, 9-8 in five innings, to Mazon Trucking on Monday (5/28) at Field #1.

Mazon Trucking's D. Jones, E. Ruiz and C. Becerra combined for four hits and two RBIs.

Mazon Trucking closer Ruiz put away the final three outs to record the save.

The top of the first saw Andy's Sports take an early lead, 3-0. A triple by D. Ramos, scoring I. Saldivar started the inning off. Andy's Sports pushed more runs across when Ramos and Smith scored on a two-run single by A. Moraz.

After a quick strike from Andy's Sports, Mazon Trucking responded with three runs in the first. Mazon Trucking scored on a two-run single by N. Blancas and an RBI double by A. Palacios.

Mazon Trucking scored three runs of its own in the second. Mazon Trucking scored on a passed ball and a two-run double by A. Garcia.

Andy's Sports matched its one-run third inning with one more in the fourth. In the third, Andy's Sports scored on a groundout by Saldivar, plating J. Campbell.

The lead stayed with Mazon Trucking after the fourth, when it scored three runs on a two-run home run by Becerra and a passed ball.

Mazon Trucking will face Cervantez Remodeling in the AAA Championship on Friday (6/1) at 6:00 PM on Field #1.
