LOOKING FOR MANAGERS AND COACHES FOR 2012 SEASON ALL LEVELS |

Madera National Little League is searching for quality candidates to lead our teams for the 2012 season.
If you are interested in managing or coaching a team for the upcoming 2012 season, it is necessary to complete a letter of intent, accompanied with a 2012 Volunteer Application, and a copy of your current California Drivers License or Identification. And submit these to the league by November 30, 2011.
You may mail your completed request to Madera National Little League, P.O. Box 1176, Madera, CA 93639-1176. Or give to any current board member. You may see the list of the 2012 Board of Directors by going here.
The 2012 Volunteer Application can be found here. Your letter of intent simply needs to state who you are, what division you are interested in managing or coaching in, and briefly list your qualifications.

FALL BALL MINORS TOURNAMENT |

On Tuesday night we held the Minor League Fall Ball Championship game between Royal Blue and Grey. The Grey team was the first to score with 2 runs in the bottom of the second. It stayed that way until the top of the 4th when the Royal Blue team scored 4 runs to take a 4-2 lead. Grey scored another run in the bottom of the 5th to make it 4-3 going into the last inning. Both teams were unable to score anymore runs and the game finished with Royal Blue winning 4-3 over Grey. Both teams played an excellent game and should be very proud of how well they did this year. I would like also to praise the play of all the teams that were invoilved in the Minor League Fall Ball this year and thank the coaches for all their hard work. I look forward to seeing you all in the Spring when we start Little League. |

On September 14th the Annual Membership meeting was held at Round Table Pizza to elect the Board of Directors for the 2012 Little League Season. On October 1st the new board officially assumed their new positions and for the new season, below is the list of officers. If you should have any questions please direct them to these people who have volunteered to provide the best possible Little League experience for the children of our community.

It is with much sadness that we let you know that Little League District 10 Administrator Bob Berry passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2011 at his home. Bob has been the District 10 Administrator for more than 27 years. His knowledge of Little League and his commitment to the ultimate purpose of providing a quality youth baseball program, from Reedley to Turlock, was unmatched. He will be greatly missed.
Graveside services will be September 24, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Fresno Memorial Gardens 175 South Cornelia Ave Fresno, Ca. 93706
Memorial Services will be September 24, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Clovis 2080 East Tollhouse Road Clovis, Ca. 93611
